Phrases

Phrases are the words you say.

When Action Phrase hears a phrase that matches one you’ve created, it runs the actions assigned to it.

What Is a Phrase?

A phrase contains:

  • The text to listen for
  • Optional variables (such as numbers or custom values)
  • One or more actions to run when matched

Phrases connect spoken language to automation.

How Phrases Work

  1. You speak.
  2. Action Phrase converts speech to text.
  3. The app compares what you said to your saved phrases.
  4. If there’s a match, the phrase’s actions run.

Phrases can be short commands or longer, more natural speech — depending on how you design them.
