Phrases
Phrases are the words you say.
When Action Phrase hears a phrase that matches one you’ve created, it runs the actions assigned to it.
What Is a Phrase?
A phrase contains:
- The text to listen for
- Optional variables (such as numbers or custom values)
- One or more actions to run when matched
Phrases connect spoken language to automation.
How Phrases Work
- You speak.
- Action Phrase converts speech to text.
- The app compares what you said to your saved phrases.
- If there’s a match, the phrase’s actions run.
Phrases can be short commands or longer, more natural speech — depending on how you design them.
