New Action
Create an Action
Create a new action from the Actions tab by tapping on the plus button.
Provide basic information about the action, including:
- Name: The name for your action.
- Type: Choose the type of action you are creating from the list provided.
- Description: An optional description for your action. If you leave it blank, a default description will be displayed based on the parameters of the action.
You can optionally enter a phrase that will be created alongside your new action. This phrase will have the action attached to it.
Action Details
Tap on the done button to go to the Action Details page, where you'll see the basic information you entered earlier:
- Name
- Type
- Description
Action Parameters
Each action type defines its own set of custom parameter. Refer to the section on each action for details on configurable parameters.
Action Variables
You can define additional variables that will appear when you are editing an action phrase. These variables can take advantage of text transforms provided you have Core or Studio.
Used In
Displays a list of phrases that are using this action.
Metadata
Display the creation and last modification date for the action.
Test Action
Test the action. You'll want to have default parameters set in order to test it properly.
Delete Action
Deletes the selected action and removes references to it from phrases.
