Room Sessions
To start a Room session, perform the following:
- Open a room
- Tap Start Session
When starting, you can:
- pre-map voice samples first for better speaker consistency,
- choose Auto or Manual run mode,
- monitor transcript and action history during the session,
- and clear transcript/history as needed.
Room sessions always use FluidAudio for consistent speaker diarization while conditions are being evaluated.
Notes
- If Phrase Recognition is disabled at the room level, speaker-level phrase settings are not active.
- Run mode and most Room behavior can be changed from Room Controls during a live session.
Studio Requirement for Automatic Running of Actions
In order to run actions automatically in Rooms, you must have an active Studio subscription. With Free and Core tiers, you can go into a Room session and see triggers recognized, but the actions associated with a trigger will not run automatically. You can set the Run Mode for the Room to Manual and run the actions manually with a tap.
