Script Settings

Scripts settings define default behavior for new scripts and how script sections are generated. Tap the More Menu in the upper-right corner and choose Settings, then open Scripts.

Advanced Forward Only

When enabled, script progression stays forward-only.\ Action Phrase won’t jump back to earlier sections once progression has moved ahead.

Section Detection

Section Detection is currently set to:

• Method: Automatic

Section Defaults

These defaults apply to newly created scripts. Individual scripts can override them.

Run Mode

Choose the default section run mode:

• Automatic
• Manual

Repeat Mode

Choose how section actions repeat by default.

Action Timing

Choose when section actions fire by default.

Section Generation

Choose how new script text is split into sections.

• Auto
• Paragraph Split
• Smart (shown only when supported on the device)

Each mode changes how script content is grouped for matching and progression.

Length

Set the minimum section length with the Length slider.

• Range: 150 to 1000
• Step: 50

Shorter values create more sections. Longer values combine text into larger sections.

Availability Notes

The Smart split mode appears only when Apple Foundation Models are available and supported for the current locale/device. If Smart is unavailable, Action Phrase automatically falls back to Auto.
