Input Settings

Tap the More Menu in the upper-right corner and choose Settings, then open Input.

Source

Choose where listening audio comes from:

  • Microphone
  • Audio File

Changing Source updates which Input options are shown.

Microphone

Choose which available microphone Action Phrase uses while listening.\ The currently selected route/device is shown below this setting.

Audio Session Mode

Controls how the app configures the system audio session for microphone capture.

  • Auto: Automatically uses Measurement for most microphones and Default for Bluetooth HFP.
  • Default: Uses standard system audio processing and routing behavior.
  • Measurement: Uses low-processing input for analysis-focused capture.
  • Spoken Audio: Optimized for spoken-voice playback/capture behavior.
  • Voice Chat: Voice-processing mode for conversational speech pickup.

If listening is currently active, changing Audio Session Mode prompts you to restart listening now or apply it later.

Allow Audio Mixing

When enabled, other app audio can continue while listening, and that audio is ducked.\ When disabled, starting listening stops other audio, and starting new audio playback ends listening.

Audio File

Use a recording as the listening source for testing and replay workflows.

File

Choose an audio file to use for replay input.\ The selected file name appears in settings, and you can remove the current file at any time.

Monitor Playback

Controls whether replay audio is monitored during playback while recognition runs.

Playback Speed

Adjust replay speed from slower to faster playback.\ Available speeds:

  • 0.5x
  • 0.75x
  • 1x
  • 1.25x
  • 1.5x
  • 1.75x
  • 2x
