Script Action Repeat
Action Repeat controls how often a section’s actions are allowed to run during a Script session.
Because Action Phrase is continuously listening and adapting to your speech, it may occasionally re-detect the same section—especially if you pause, rephrase, or jump back in your script.
Repeating Actions
Action Repeat lets you decide how the app should behave in those situations.
You can choose from three options:
- Use Script Default: Use the default setting set in Script Settings
- Allow Repeats: actions will run every time the section is detected
- Once Per Session: actions will only trigger the first time the section is reached
If your actions control something that should only happen once (like switching scenes or starting a recording), use Run once per session.
If your actions are safe to repeat or need to stay in sync with what you’re saying (like updating graphics or triggering cues), choose Allow repeats.
Repeated Cues
Repeated Cues control what happens when Action Phrase hears a section’s Magic Phrase more than once during the same Script session. You can allow repeated cues to:
- Navigate to Section: is useful for rehearsals, restarts, or intentionally returning to a moment in the script.
- Ignore: Ignore if the section has already been matched, which helps keep live sessions moving forward and prevents accidental jumps caused by repeated wording.
